Jordan Moretti

Jordan Moretti begins her second season as an assistant women’s basketball coach at JWU (Providence) in 2024-25.

The Wildcats finished the 2024-25 campaign with a 23-3 record and the No. 1 seed in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament. Four student-athletes – Grace Jaffray, Isabella Suero, and Brianne Foley – all garnered all-conference honors with Jaffray garnering both GNAC Rookie of the Year and D3hoops.com Region 1 Rookie of the Year honors. Suero, meanwhile, let the nation with 99 triples while JWU as a whole led all of Division III with 282 three-pointers.

A four-year member of the UMass Dartmouth women’s basketball program (2018-23), Moretti was a three-time Little East First Team pick (2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23) who finished her career No. 2 in program history with 1,402 career points (12.3 ppg), along with 420 assists and 214 steals. She scored 409 points in 2022-23, which is the second-highest single season mark at UMD.

The Corsairs posted a combined record of 79-38 during Moretti’s time in North Dartmouth (.675 winning pct.) and advanced to the Little East Semifinals three times, reaching the finals in 2021-22. Moretti – who was named to the Little East All-Academic Team four times – was a 2022-23 College Sports Communications (CSC) Academic All-District selection as well as a D3hoops.com All-Region Second Team honoree.

Moretti received her bachelor’s degree in marketing in 2022 and her Master’s of Business Administration the following year. She spent the 2023-24 season as a member of the Wheaton (MA) College staff and is also a skills trainer with Worldwide Basketball Academy.
