Caroline Amorelli begins her second season as an assistant coach with the JWU (Providence) softball team in 2027.
In the Wildcats first season as a member of the Conference of New England (CNE) in 2026, Amorelli helped guide JWU to a 20-16 season (13-7 CNE) and the No. 3 seed in the conference tournament. The Wildcats closed the regular season on a 10-game winning streak and extend their streak of 20-win campaigns to five.
A four-year member of the JWU softball program, Amorelli graduated No. 2 in RBI (142), No. 6 in home runs (19), and No. 7 in hits (190). A four-time Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Conference pick, the Berlin, New Jersey native posted a .425 average as a junior and finished her career hitting at a .358 clip. She was named to the GNAC First Team in both 2022 and 2024.
Amorelli graduated in 2025 with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science.
