Brent Petrowski enters his fourth season overall the JWU (Providence) men’s ice hockey team and second as assistant coach. Petrowski oversees the Wildcat defense and goaltending while also assisting with video analysis and recruiting.
Prior to joining JWU, Petrowski coached across various levels of hockey around New England, including the prep, midget AAA and junior hockey ranks. He previously served as head coach of the Bridgewater Bandits USPHL elite junior team and currently operates a successful spring and summer development program. Petrowski’s background also includes several scouting roles.
Ahead of his time coaching and scouting, Petrowski played collegiately at Post University in Waterbury Connecticut, before finishing his undergraduate degree at Johnson & Wales. He also holds a Masters Degree in Athletic Administration from Endicott College and currently serves as an Athletic Director at a private high school in Massachusetts.
