Marinna Emond begins her third season as an assistant coach with the JWU (Providence) field hockey program in 2024.
The Seekonk, Massachusetts native spent five season as the head coach at Bishop Feehan High School (2016-21) before joining the Wildcats in the fall of 2022. JWU has captured a pair of Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championships with Emond on staff.
Emond began her collegiate playing career at Eastern Connecticut State University in 2012 and spent two seasons as a member of the Warriors program, where she appeared in 29 games. She transferred to Bridgewater State University prior to the start of the 2014 campaign and appeared in 30 games for the Bears, registering seven points (2-3-7) during that span.
Emond graduated from BSU in 2016 with a degree in English and is currently working as a kindergarten teacher.
