Jack Magane ’24 returned to his alma mater to serve as an assistant coach with the JWU (Providence) baseball team in 2025.
In his first season back with the program in 2025, the Wildcats won 28 games and captured the fourth Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship in program history. This past season, JWU narrowly missed the playoffs in their first season of competition in the Conference of New England (CNE).
Magane finished his collegiate career with a .283 average, 130 hits, 53 RBI and 29 stolen bases in 138 career games (129 starts). He was a member of three Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship Teams and garnered GNAC First Team honors as a senior, when he batted .308.
