PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The JWU (Providence) women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to Montclair State University Sunday afternoon in non-conference action at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.
The Wildcats (1-2-0) fired off six shots compared to 16 for the Red Hawks (2-0-1) and received five saves from senior goalkeeper

Following a first half which saw the visitors outshoot JWU by a slim 5-4 margin, the Red Hawks turned up the pressure offensively over the final 45 minutes, getting off 11 shots compared to two for the Wildcats.
The lone goal of the match came at 64:43 when Isabell Kronow buried a penalty kick into the lower left side of the net for her fourth goal of the season.
