Julia Caputo competed at the Larry Ellis Invitational this past weekend on the campus of Princeton University in New Jersey.
The Canton, Massachusetts native – who placed first in the 800m, 1,500m, and 5,000m at the Conference of New England (CNE) Championship last month – completed the 5,000m in 16:33.56. Her time was good for 13th place overall with the top 12 spots occupied by Division I student-athletes.
In the process, Caputo not only broke ger own school record, but she moved into ninth place in all of Division III this season with her performance in 'The Garden State.' It also ranks amongst the top 50 fastest 5,000m times in Division III history.
