BEVERLY, Mass. – JWU (Providence) senior Jillian Reed has been named the Conference of New England (CNE) Softball Pitcher of the Week for the first time in her career.

The Burlington, New Jersey native went 4-0 with a 1.07 ERA and 15 strikeouts in 19.2 innings of work. She picked up complete game wins against UNE, Hartford, and WNE, and also scored a save in the nightcap against the Golden Bears.

Reed's best game of the week was a complete-game, three-hit shutout of the Hawks on Saturday. She walked two and struck out eight – her third game of 2026 with at least eight punchouts.

Winners of their last eight, the Wildcats (16-14, 11-7 CNE) close the regular season with a home DH against Curry on Friday at 3 p.m.
