BABSON PARK, Mass. – The JWU (Providence) baseball team was defeated by Babson College 15-4 in non-conference action Thursday afternoon at Govoni Field.

Jack Obert drew a pair of walks and also picked up a hit.
The Beavers (17-14) struck for six runs in the third – five of which were unearned – to grab a commanding 9-2 lead. Freshman starter
Jake Scharlat allowed five hits and eight runs (five earned) with four walks and three strikeouts in two innings of work.
