PROVIDENCE, R.I. – JWU (Providence) sophomore
Grace Jaffray has been named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) NCAA Division III All-America Honorable Mention team.
The Conference of New England (CNE) Player of the Year, Jaffray closed her season No. 4 in the nation in scoring at 22.7 ppg. The Blue Hill, Maine Native – who was also named to the CNE First Team – scored in double figures in all but two games this past season, netting 20+ points14 times and hitting the 30-point mark on seven occasions.
Jaffray opened the season with three 30-point efforts, including a 38-point barrage in a road win against Western New England (Nov. 19). She later poured in a season-high 41 points against Salem State (Dec. 9) and dropped in 30 points in the CNE Championship against the Golden Bears. For his efforts, she was named Most Outstanding Player of the CNE Tournament.
On January 20, the four-time CNE Player of the Week became the seventh student-athlete and first sophomore in program history to reach the 1,000-point mark for her career. She enters her junior campaign with 1,132 points, which is six behind Tehesha Parsons (1,138) for sixth place and eight behind Johanna Santosuosso (1,140) for fifth place.
Earlier this month, Jaffray was named to both the D3hoops.com Women's All-Region 2 First Team and the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) First Team.
The Wildcats finished the 2025-26 campaign with a 23-5 record (15-1 CNE) and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2015-16.
