Silas Sawtelle scored a team-high 21 points for the JWU (Providence) men's basketball team in an 89-56 loss to Wenworth Wednesday night in Conference of New England (CNE) action at Tansey Gymnasium.
Sawtelle knocked down 7-of-18 FGA – including a pair of triples – and also snared nine rebounds for the Wildcats (1-14, 0-4 CNE). Freshman

De'Angelo Owens each finished with six.

Dylan Hooter pulled down seven boards to go with four points and three steals for a JWU squad which shot 31 pct. from the field and was outrebounded 41-34.
The Leopards (1-13, 1-6 CNE) canned 55 percent of their shots and had three student-athletes finish in double-figures in scoring.
