PROVIDENCE, R.I. – JWU (Providence) Assistant Athletic Director and longtime wrestling head coach Lonnie Morris has announced the addition of Dylan Harr as Senior Assistant Coach.

A three-time All-America selection (2023-25), Harr graduated from JWU this past May with a degree in Dietetics and Applied Nutrition. The Mohnton, Pennsylvania native placed fourth in the nation at 197 lbs. in both 2023 & 2024 before placing fifth at the NCAA Championship last May in Providence, R.I. at the Amica Mutual Pavilion. Harr took home the Most Pins Award from the championship last spring.

"I want to sincerely thank Dana Garfield and Lonnie Morris for this opportunity and for believing in me," said Harr. "Johnson & Wales has always been a special place to me, and it truly means a lot to return to my alma mater and be part of this program. I'm excited to help develop our student-athletes both on and off the mat, contribute to the continued growth of the program, and support the coaching staff in any way I can. Coaching at the collegiate level has always been a goal of mine, and I'm grateful to be able to pursue that dream here at JWU."

Harr – who will also work with all of JWU's student-athletes in a strength & conditioning role – was named to the New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) First Team on three occasions (2023-25) and finished his career with 85 wins against 26 losses (.766 winning pct.).

As a junior, Harr won the 197 lb. bracket at the New Standard Invitational and placed first at the Scott Viera Open as a senior. He was also named Most Outstanding Wrestler at the NEWA Duals in 2025 following a 3-0 performance.
