EAST GREENWICH, R.I. – The JWU (Providence) IDA program advanced to the 
International Dressage Association National Championships with a first-place finish on Sunday at Faith Hill Farm.
Senior 
Peyton McGuan (Lower Training) was High Point Rider of the Day with a 77.7%. Junior
 Madison Cary was Reserve High Point Rider of the Day with a score of 76%.
Cary (Upper Training) and sophomore 
Abigail Gilley (Introductory) qualified as individuals, and senior 
Viviane Lensky qualified for Dressage Seat Equitation First Level.
"We had a great weekend. It was long and lots of hard work at new facility, but lots of nice quality horses," said head coach 
Crystal Taylor, whose squad finished second in the region.
Cary, Gilley, McGuan, Lensky, and senior 
Paige Surrell (First Level) will travel to St. Louis, Missouri for the championship, which will take place April 24-26, 2025.
"We are all so excited to have qualified for nationals and look forward to representing JWU," said McGuan.
