Wildcats notch 15-3 win over Bulldogs

FRANKLIN, Mass. – Senior Madeleine Gould and junior Mila Kuilan each scored six goals for the JWU (Providence) women's lacrosse team in a 15-3 win at Dean College Wednesday night in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action at Grant Field.

Senior Neely Connor and junior Izzy Babb both handed out three assists as the Wildcats moved to 10-3 on the season (8-1 GNAC). JWU – which outshot the Bulldogs 40-21 – also received seven ground balls from freshman Kelsey Higgins, six draw controls from senior Isabella Nugent, and five draw controls from Gould.

Gould scored twice in the first to help the Wildcats build a 5-1 lead after one. Man-up goals from Gould and Kuilan late in the second pushed the lead to 8-2 at the break, and two tallies from both Gould and Kuilan in the third stretched the visitors advantage to 12-3 headed to the fourth.

Senior goalie Emma Glyman recorded 11 saves to lift her record to 10-3 on the season. Nugent paced the visitors with two caused turnovers.
