Kuilan nets six goals in win over Lasers

NEWTON, Mass. – Junior Mila Kuilan tallied six times for the JWU (Providence) women's lacrosse team in a 13-3 win at Lasell University Saturday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action at Grellier Field.

Senior Madeleine Gould notched three goals of her own as the Wildcats (6-2, 4-0 GNAC) outshot the Lasers 42-20. Freshman Kelsey Higgins found the back of the net twice and junior Izzy Babb picked up a goal and an assist.

Senior Isabella Nugent paced the defensive unit for head coach Olivia Duarte with four caused turnovers while Kuilan and classmate Fara Holland each caused two. Senior netminder Emma Glyman recorded 12 saves to secure her sixth win of the season.

The Wildcats scored the first seven goals of the contest and held a 10-2 lead at the half.
