PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The JWU (Providence) men's basketball team closed the 2024-25 season with a 73-69 loss to Regis (MA) College Saturday afternoon on Senior Day at the Wildcat Center.

Sean Duke scored a career-high 21 points on 7-of-15 shooting (3-of-6 three-pointers) in 30 minutes for the Wildcats (5-18, 3-11 GNAC), who honored Duke along with classmate

Izaiah Shaw-Glen added 18 points and nine rebounds off the bench (8-of-15 FG) while Zangerle scored 12 points to cap his career with 1,395, which is the fifth-highest total in program history. Freshman
Azariah Harrison rattled home a pair of triples and finished with 12 points and four rebounds.
The Wildcats trailed by 13 at halftime (43-30) but opened the second half on a 23-10 run to pull even at 53 eight minutes in. Shaw-Glen led the charge with nine points while Harrington scored seven during the spurt.
JWU then took a 61-57 lead following an and-1 from Shaw-Glen at the 7:48 mark. The Pride clawed back to even the game at 67 with 2:01 on the clock and then pulled ahead by four (71-67) as Russell Rau scored six of his game-high 32 points over the final 120 seconds.
The Wildcats outrebounded the visitors 41-40 and shot 42 percent from the field. Regis knocked down 37 percent of its shots and turned 13 JWU turnovers into15 points.
