Bagley, Elliott score in 2-0 win against Pride

WESTON, Mass. – Graduate student Aidan Bagley and senior Conner Elliott scored first-half goals to propel the JWU (Providence) men's soccer team to a 2-0 win at Regis (MA) College Saturday evening in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action at Regis Stadium.

The Wildcats (3-1-0, 1-0-0 GNAC) outshot the Pride 13-10 and received five saves from graduate student Sean Furtek, who was making his second collegiate start. Bagley scored the only goal JWU would need on a penalty kick at 10:43 and doubled its lead at 30:37when Elliott poked a cross from sophomore Befi Wanimbo into the lower right corner.

Elliott led all student-athletes with four shots while both Bagley and sophomore Christopher Vargas were credited with three.
