Wildcats rebound from loss to Saints to defeat Chargers in five

BOSTON, Mass. – The JWU (Providence) women's volleyball team split its Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) tri-match with Emmanuel (MA) and Colby-Sawyer Saturday at the Jean Yawkey Center.

Saints 3, Wildcats 1 (35-23, 25-17, 23-25, 25-17)
Graduate student Peyton Oliver paced the offense with 15 kills and nine digs while freshman Nevaeh Arnold threw down eight kills and picked up six aces. The freshmen tandem of Olivia Immel and Sophia Diphilippo combined to hand out 33 assists, classmate Skylar Winchester collected 10 digs and six kills, and junior Sierra Nausieda registered 17 digs.

Wildcats 3, Chargers 2 (18-25, 25-19, 22-25, 25-17, 15-7)
Oliver recorded a double-double with 18 kills and 10 digs as the Wildcats rallied from a 2-1 deficit to win in five. The New Jersey native also collected three of the team's 15 blocks. Winchester threw down 10 kills and notched 13 digs while Arnold and classmate Bailey Koopman were each credited with seven kills. Nauseida tallied 13 digs and junior Ajie Jagne went for four kills and four blocks.
