PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The JWU (Providence) men's soccer team suffered its first loss at home since 2022 with a 2-0 loss to Salve Regina University Sunday evening at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.

Declan Caster recorded eight saves for the Wildcats (1-1-0) in a game which featured a total of 10 cards, including a pair of red cards. The Seahawks outshot the home team 27-11 and scored once in each half to even their record at 1-1-0.
Hunter Schultz opened the scoring at 32:06 for SRU when he kicked in a rebound off a shot from Daniel Goba that was stopped by Caster. In the second half, Goba knocked a loose ball past Caster near the right post to double the Seahawks lead.

Conner Elliott paced the Wildcats with two shots on goal.
