PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The JWU (Providence) men's lacrosse program was defeated by Plattsburgh State 11-7 in non-conference action Wednesday afternoon at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.

Jackson Vecchio each scored twice for the Wildcats (3-2), who also received one goal, two assists, and 13 ground balls (13-of-19 face-offs) from graduate student

Donny McInnis also found the back of the net for JWU.
The Wildcats led 4-3 after one quarter behind a pair of tallies from Centeio. The Cardinals answered back in the second to tie the game at six at halftime, then outscored the home team 5-1 over the final 30o minutes.
