PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The JWU (Providence) women's lacrosse team fell to Framingham State University 18-7 in non-conference action Wednesday afternoon at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.

Maris DiBeneditto paced the Wildcats with three goals while juniors
Neely Connor and
Madeleine Gould each scored twice. Junior goalie
Emma Glyman tallied nine saves for JWU (1-2), which received six draw controls from Connor and four from both Gould and junior
Isabella Nugent.
The Wildcats trailed 4-0 midway through the second before ripping off five unanswered goals to move in front by one with 3:30 remaining in the half. The Rams (4-2) responded with eight unanswered goals to grab a 12-5 lead which grew to 16-6 late in the fourth.
JWU was outshot 36-25 and committed 23 turnovers.
