BOSTON, Mass. – The JWU (Providence) men's ice hockey team saw its season come to a close with a 5-0 loss at UMass Boston Saturday afternoon in New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) action at Barry Ice Rink.
Less than 24 hours after securing their first-ever win over the Beacons, the Wildcats were outshot 51-34 and went 0-for-8 on the power play. UMass Boston, meanwhile, scored three times with the man advantage.
The Beacons opened the scoring 2:16 into the contest and led 4-0 after 20 minutes of action. Senior

Jake Inzirillo at the start of the second period; Inzirillo finished with 31 saves.
