Zofia Bangs scored the only goal of the match with 2:23 remaining in regulation to give the JWU (Providence) field hockey team a 1-0 win at the University of Saint Joseph Wednesday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action.
The Wildcats will enter the playoffs as the No. 1 seed after posting a 12-0 record in conference play during the regular season, allowing just give goals during that span. JWU will host No. 8 Dean at noon on Saturday at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.
