Madison Sanborn scored the game-tying goal 17 minutes into the second half to give the JWU-Providence women's soccer team a 1-1 tie with Babson College Friday afternoon in non-conference action at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.
Freshman
Jessica Lee collected her first collegiate point on Sanborn's goal as she sent the ball into the box on a corner from the right side of the field, knotting the match at one. The ball found Sanborn at the far post and she was able to head the ball into the net at 62:16 of the match.
The Beavers (1-0-0) capitalized on a turnover 13:52 into the match to grab a 1-0 lead. Morgan Krauss stole the ball just outside the box, walked in and fired a shot inside the right post. Babson closed the half with a 7-6 edge in shots.
The Wildcats dominated the second half of the match, outshooting the visitors 12-3 and finished the match with an 18-10 advantage. After registering her first collegiate point minutes earlier, Lee rang a free kick off the right post to keep the game tied at one.

Leah Bragaw made three saves in her first collegiate start before being lifted at halftime in favor of classmate
Carly McCrumb, who tallied two saves.
