PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Graduate student Aidan Bagley scored his first goal at JWU-Providence in a 1-1 tie with Bridgewater State University Friday evening in non-conference men's soccer action at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.

Classmate Jacob Friedman notched five saves in goal for the Wildcats, who were outshot 10-8 on the evening. Bagley, meanwhile, collected the JWU goal on a PK 16:47 into the match when he got the BSU keeper to go right before tucking his shot into the left corner. Thomas Terry evened the score at 30:05 with a shot from 30 yards out that found the top left corner.

The second half – which saw the Wildcats outshoot the Bears 6-5 – also featured three yellow cards. JWU received four first-half corner kicks but did not manage to earn any over the final 45 minutes.

Bagley, along with junior Conner Elliott and freshman Bruno Teixeira, each tallied two shots for the Wildcats.
