NEWTON, Mass. – The Johnson & Wales (RI) University men's lacrosse team saw its season come to an end with a 13-5 loss No. 2 Lasell University in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Quarterfinals Saturday afternoon at Grellier Field.

Junior Brent Rickett scored twice for the Wildcats while seniors Noah Fye and Alex Padula each racked up a goal and an assist. Sophomore Donnie McInnis also found the back of the net for JWU, which was outshot 42-34.  

Junior Chris April recorded 16 saves in net for the Wildcats, who saw senior Mike Catuosco go 11-of-22 at the X and collect a game-high eight ground balls. JWU trailed 8-3 at the half before being outscored 3-0 in the third, which sent the game to the fourth with the Lasers ahead 11-3.
