Women's Ice Hockey falls to Spartans, 2-0

CASTLETON, Vt. – The JWU-Providence women's ice hockey team was defeated by VTSU Castleton 2-0 Friday night in New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) action at Spartan Arena.

Junior goaltender Sofia Tamayo stopped 20 of 23 shots for the Wildcats (0-3-0, 0-1-0 NEHC), who were led in shots by sophomore Allyson Barry with six. JWU went 0-for-4 with the man advantage and killed off 3-of-4 Castleton PP opportunities.
