Wildcats remain unbeaten in GNAC with win at USJ

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – Freshman Sophia Warburton scored a pair of goals in JWU-Providence's 4-0 win at the University of Saint Joseph (CT) Wednesday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) women's soccer action at the USJ Soccer Field.

Freshman Gracie Kauffman added her first collegiate goal for the Wildcats (9-1-3, 9-0-0 GNAC), who have not allowed a goal in seven consecutive conference matches. Sophomore MacKenna Renaud also found the back of the net for JWU while junior Katherine Dufour, sophomore Lauren Moriarity, and freshman Lulani Haslinger each registered an assist.

Junior Carly McCrumb got the start in goal and recorded one save to earn the win. Classmate Leah Bragaw played the second half and was credited with two saves. The Wildcats outshot the Blue Jays (6-4-1, 6-2-1 GNAC) by a 27-4 margin.
