WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Johnson & Wales (RI) University field hockey team's record-setting season came to a close with an 8-0 loss to Williams College in First Round of the NCAA Tournament Wednesday night at Williamson Field. The Wildcats finish their season with a program-record 19 wins.

Senior and Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Goalkeeper of the Year Madison Flaxington recorded a season-high 18 saves as the Ephs (13-5) outshot the Wildcats 30-2. JWU fell behind 3-0 after one and trailed 5-0 at halftime.
Senior Margaret Johnson and freshman Caitlin Quinn were credited with shots on goal for the Wildcats.
