PAXTON, Mass. – Junior Peyton Oliver picked up 14 kills in Johnson & Wales (RI) University's 3-0 win at Anna Maria College Tuesday night in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action at the Fuller Activities Center.
The Ramsey, New Jersey native added four digs and four blocks for the Wildcats, who climbed above .500 for the first time this season at 7-6 and remained perfect in conference play at 3-0. JWU took game one 25-17, game two 25-15, and game three 25-14.
Junior Sarah Miller filled the stat sheet with nine kills, seven digs, two assists and two aces. Freshman and reigning GNAC Rookie of the Week Daniela Rank collected six kills, two digs and two blocks while classmate Katelyn O'Brien racked up six kills and four digs. Sophomore Isabella Alfonso notched two kills and four digs and classmate Savannah Cambell handed out 29 assists.
