WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The Johnson & Wales (RI) University women's volleyball team defeated the University of Saint Joseph (CT) 3-0 Wednesday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action at the O'Connell Center. The Wildcats won game one 25-19, game two 25-14, and game three 25-17.
Junior Peyton Oliver led the offense with 13 kills to go with nine digs. Classmate Sarah Miller added seven kills and 15 digs while freshman Ajie Jagne registered seven kills (.417 hitting pct.) and graduate student Amanda Koch notched four (.455 hitting pct.).
Sophomore Kyra Hissner chipped in with eight assists and three kills, freshman Savannah Cambell collected 12 assists in one game, and senior Elle Raviv notched two kills.
