PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Junior Sarah Miller recorded a match-high 17 kills in Johnson & Wales (RI) University's 3-0 win over Norwich University Tuesday night in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) women's volleyball action at the Wildcat Center. The Wildcats won the first set 30-25, the second 25-15, and the third 25-23.
The Scarborough, Ontario native added nine digs and three services aces as the Wildcats moved to 5-1 in conference play (9-8 overall). Classmate Peyton Oliver added 14 kills and digs while senior Emily Corbett – who was named GNAC Libero of the Week earlier in the day – racked up 21 digs and four assists.
JWU registered a team hitting pct. of .309 on the night, led by graduate student Amanda Koch (.455) and Miller (.333). Sophomore Kyra Hissner dished out 23 assists while senior Sibel Truong handed out 16.
