NEWPORT, R.I. - Trailing 1-0 at the end of the first half, the JWU men's soccer team scored a pair of goals en route to a 2-1 win on the road on Sunday afternoon.

Of Note:

Salve collected the opening goal just under three minutes into the match off the foot of Jacob Guerra.

Over 50 minutes later, the Wildcats senior Kevin Reilly used a pass from classmate Ricky Africo to send a shot to the back of the net and tie the match at one. Senior Erick Goncalves broke the tie in the 77th minute with his first goal since the 2017 season. Senior Nick Gutekunst and junior Esteban Osorio pushed the ball upfield and found Goncalves who connected on his second career game winner.
