Men's Ice Hockey Jammed Up by #8 Beavers on Senior Day

PAWTUCKET, RI – The Johnson & Wales University men's ice hockey team got out to a fast start Saturday against eighth-ranked Babson College, but the Wildcats could not sustain their offense. JWU dropped an 11-2 NEHC contest to the Beavers.

Of Note:
Johnson & Wales took advantage of an early power play to score the first goal of the game. Kodi Legassie got the scoring started with Matt Bernot and Matt Gulack getting the assists.

Babson answered five minutes later with Patrick Flynn's goal starting a run of four goals in the span of nine minutes.

Danny Allen broke through for his first collegiate goal in the third period.

The Beavers kept the JWU goalies busy as they outshot the Wildcats, 50-21.
