PROVIDENCE, RI – The veteran experience of the Johnson & Wales University women's volleyball team knows how to handle tight situations late in the match. The third-ranked Wildcats were pushed in the first and second sets Friday by Roger Williams, but came away with the 3-0 (25-21, 25-21, 25-12) triumph.

Johnson & Wales extended the longest active Division III winning streak to 20 matches and won its 51st-straight home match.
The first two sets were tied at 20-20. JWU benefited from three Hawks errors in the first set plus a solo block by Kate Walker.
Walker recorded a kill and two blocks down the stretch of set two as the Wildcats pulled away. She had 11 kills and six blocks to go along with a .429 hitting percentage.
The Wildcats had a 76-59 advantage in digs which limited RWU to a .068 hitting percentage. JWU also had eight blocks while the Hawks only produced three.
JWU takes on Rivier Saturday at 10:30 a.m. followed by Coast Guard at 1 p.m.
