Women’s Volleyball Sweeps Albertus Magnus 3-0

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The fourth-ranked Johnson & Wales University women's volleyball team was all business Thursday night. The Wildcats went on the road to defeat Albertus Magnus, 3-0 (25-18, 25-14, 25-13).

Of Note:
Johnson & Wales won its 30th conference game in a row, dating back to the 2015 season.

The Falcons hung with the Wildcats in the first set, getting as close as 18-15. JWU's offense came alive with six kills in the final seven points. Johnson & Wales hit .387 on its way to winning the second set.

JWU's offense was well dispersed as six players posted four or more kills. Leading the way was Kelly Delaney and Elisabeth Elbrecht with a half dozen winners each.

The Wildcats limited Albertus Magnus to a .119 hitting percentage with a 46-33 advantage in digs.

Johnson & Wales had 11 aces, one off its season-high.
