GAME HIGHLIGHTS:

- Senior Marissa Bunnewith (Millbury, Mass.) hit a remarkable .714 against the Mustangs in the opening match, tossing down 11 kills before connecting for five kills and a .444 kill percentage against USJ 

- Freshman Emily Kalmink (Byron Center, Mich.) combined for 20 kills and 17 digs in the sweep

- Senior Kellen Tensen (New Canaan, Conn.) registered 23 and 29 set assists for the Wildcats while serving three aces per match

 

KEY PLAYS/MOMENTS:

- In the second set against the host Mustangs, JWU used back-to-back kills by Tensen and freshman Nastasia Kapustin (West Nyack, N.Y.) to end a four-point run for MIC and helped solidify a lead for the remainder of the set
