GAME HIGHLIGHTS:

- Freshman Nastasia Kapustin (West Nyack, N.Y.) paced the Wildcats with 12 kills and added six digs 

- Senior Paula Cadavid (Pawtucket, R.I.) had eight kills and led JWU with 15 digs in the four set win

- Senior Kellen Tensen (New Canaan, Conn.) registered 34 set assists for the visiting Wildcats while serving six aces while her counterpart from Simmons Andalyn Duke gathered 32 assists and 15 digs

 

KEY PLAYS/MOMENTS:

- JWU fought back in to win the second set after trailing 16-8 by serving ten straight points as well as hitting a .414 for the set

- After dropping third set, the Wildcats rebounded well and put together a solid fourth set with their defense stepping it up and holding Simmons to a -.261
