Women's Tennis Takes Down Host Curry

Milton, Mass. - The Johnson & Wales women's tennis team continued their dominance against Curry with an 8-1 victory on Friday afternoon. The Wildcats last lost to the Colonels, 5-4, in 2011.

Johnson & Wales: 1-0

Curry: 0-1

 

Of Note:

Junior Claire Parry earned a pair of wins on the day with a 6-0, 7-5 win at the top singles spot while her and, top doubles partner, Drew Bobey grabbed an 8-1 win.

First year players Emily Hill, Sydney Constantinidi, Kathryn Mason and Madison Allan all earned their first collegiate victories. Constantinidi, Mason and Allan picked up 6-0, 6-0 wins. Gabriela Velazquez was the other victor in the singles sweep for JWU.
