Gulls Defeat JWU Women’s Tennis 9-0

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Johnson & Wales University women's tennis team dominated its first two matches, but the shoe was on the other foot Saturday. The Wildcats lost a 9-0 decision at Endicott.

The loss dropped the Wildcats to 2-1 while the Gulls improved to 2-0.

Trailing 3-0 after doubles, JWU was close to winning a couple of first sets, but they did not go the Wildcats' way. Sophomore Claire Parry lost 7-5, 6-4 at number one singles.

The Wildcats are back on the road Tuesday when they travel to Bridgewater State.
