JWU opened the scoring just 8:30 into the contest when a thru ball sent in by Olivia Cairrao was pushed into the back of the net by Restivo. At the 22 minute mark, Chloe Martinez earned her first career collegiate assist when she worked a pass around the keeper that led to Restivo's second goal of the game and seventh of the year. JWU goalkeeper Colleen Lynch made four saves in the opening half with JWU holding the 2-0 lead heading into half.
The Wildcats limited the Chargers opportunities for most of the second half before CSC made it a one-goal game off the foot of Hannah Marquis with 16 minutes remaining. JWU was able to keep the hosts at bay to close out the match with the one goal advantage.
Restivo has now scored two goals in back-to-back matches and has at least three points in five of her last six contests.
