Providence, RI – The Johnson & Wales University women's soccer team was defeated by the Brandeis University Judges by a score of 7-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Johnson & Wales: 0-4
Juliette Carreiro (BU): 2 goals, 1 assist
BU: Victoria Richardson (W, 2-1) 4 saves
JWU: Liz Kenney (L, 0-2) 2 saves
Just five minutes into the first half, Judges forward Makenna Hunt found the back of the net. Juilette Carrerio scored two goals in nine minutes to increase their lead. The Judges went into the locker room with a 4-0 advantage.
Brandeis added three goals in the second half to finish off the Wildcats.
The Wildcats were outshot 15-12. Brandeis was caught offsides nine times.
The Wildcats' next game is on the road versus Connecticut College Wednesday, September 11th at 4 p.m.
