Norton, Mass – The Johnson & Wales University women's soccer team were defeated by Wheaton College Lyons by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday afternoon.

Victoria Patriarca and Cat Nolan had shots that went just wide of frame early in the first half. Chloe Troy found the back of the net first for the Lyon with 9:21 on the clock. Each side had a few more opportunities before the halftime whistle, but the score remained 1-0.
Amanda Dutton closed the game for Wheaton scoring in the 79th minute, making it 2-0.
The Lyons outshot the Wildcats 12-11 and had the advantage on corners 6-3.
The Wildcats next game is the home opener versus Brandeis University, Saturday September 7th at 4 p.m.
