PROVIDENCE, RI – The Johnson & Wales University women's soccer team came alive in the second half Wednesday night. The Wildcats scored all six of their goals in final 45 minutes as they downed Regis, 6-1.

Senior Deja Hursey started the scoring with two goals within two minutes of each other. The first came off a rebound in the 49th minute. In the 51st minute, she got around the goalkeeper and found the back of the net.
Sophomore Olivia Cairrao factored into three of the last four goals. Rachel Kelley scored in the 53rd minute to pull the Pride within 2-1, but three minutes later Cairrao assisted on Jordan Restivo's goal. The Bristol, RI native followed with a pair of goals of her own, including a strike from 18 yards out.
The Wildcats kept the game in the Regis end for most of the night with a 26-7 advantage in shots.
Johnson & Wales steps out of conference Saturday when it takes on Gordon at 3 p.m.
