WALTHAM, Mass. –A goal early in the second half pulled the Johnson & Wales University women's soccer team within a score of 25th-ranked Brandeis, but the Wildcats couldn't get any closer. The Judges answered with two second-half goals for a 4-1 win over JWU on Saturday.

Brandeis connected on a pair of headers to take a 2-0 lead into the locker room.
Just 2:32 into the second half, sophomore Olivia Cairrao got the Wildcats within a goal. She blasted a free kick into the net from 20 yards out.
Unfortunately, Brandeis scored twice in just over two minutes to solidify the victories. The Judges had a 32-8 advantage in shots.
Johnson & Wales returns home on Monday to face Connecticut College at 7 p.m. The Wildcats are accepting donations for Goal4theGoal, an organization that works with hospitals across the country to provide financial assistance, grant wishes, develop and fund unique hospital programs, and fund innovative research.
