Women’s Rowing Earns CRCA Scholar-Athlete Awards

PROVIDENCE, RI – Even though their spring campaign was cut short, more recognition has come to the Johnson & Wales University women's rowing program. The Wildcats placed 13 student-athletes on the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Associate Scholar-Athlete list.

In order to receive the award, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in eligibility, ranked performance-wise in the top 50% of their team, or in the "NCAA Squad" (whichever is smaller) at the conclusion of the 2020 season and have a 3.50 cumulative GPA.

The 13 honorees are the most of any school in the Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference and nationally only trails Williams College and Smith College.
