Wildcats Improve Times at WPI Invitational

WORCESTER, Mass. – Back on Lake Quinsigamond for the second day in a row, the Johnson & Wales University women's rowing team competed at the WPI Invitational. Both JWU entries improved their times from Saturday's competition.

With Tatiana Windley as the coxswain and Olivia Fougere serving as the stroke, the varsity 8 turned in a time of 7:33.1 in the prelims. In the petite final, they took fourth with a time of 7:57.16.

The second varsity 8 sliced 31 seconds off its time the previous day, crossing the line at 8:07.68. They posted a time of 8:50.99 in the petite final to take fourth. Lauren Rohde was the coxswain with Caroline Donahue as the stroke.

JWU is back on the water April 19-20 at the Kerr Cup in Philadelphia.
