Wildcats Compete at Cayuga Duals

ITHACA, NY – The Johnson & Wales University women's rowing team stepped up its level of competition Saturday at the Cayuga Duals. The Wildcats held their own against a trio of schools that advanced to last year's NCAA Championship.

In the opening race, the varsity 8 posted a time of 7:28.12 to come in just behind Canisius. During the second competition, they crossed in the line 7:39.2 to finish back of William Smith. Tatiana Windley served as the coxswain for both races with Olivia Fougere as the stroke.

The second varsity 8 also took on Canisius in the opening race with a time of 7:49.0. They crossed the line in 7:55:0 during the second race to finish behind Ithaca. Lauren Rohde and Caroline Donahue were the coxswain/stroke combo for both races.

JWU heads to Lake Quinsigamond on Saturday and Sunday for the Clark Invitational.
