Wildcats Defeated by Rams 23-13

FRAMINGHAM, Fla. – A six-minute dry spell to end the first half cost the Johnson & Wales University women's lacrosse team on Saturday. The Wildcats lost a 23-13 decision at Framingham State University.

Framingham State: 2-2
Johnson & Wales: 0-4

Of Note:
Johnson & Wales took advantage of a FSU penalty to get within a goal, 7-6, on Dani Lydecker's third goal of the game at the 9:26 mark of the first half.

Unfortunately, the Rams outscored the Wildcats, 8-0, the rest of the half to go into the half up 15-6.

Lydecker tied her career-high with six goals while picking up three ground balls.

JWU struggled to get its offense set up as they converted 11-of-22 draw controls and committed 21 turnovers.

The Rams had the advantage in shots (39-25) and draw controls (25-13).
