Cadets Can’t Tame Wildcats in 19-5 Victory  

NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The Johnson & Wales University women's lacrosse team continued to dominate the conference on Saturday. The Wildcats won their 31st-straight GNAC contest with a 19-5 victory at Norwich University.

Johnson & Wales: 6-2, GNAC 4-0
Norwich: 3-3, GNAC 2-3

JWU: Cassidy O'Hara (W 5-1) 6 Saves, 5 Goals
NU: Lawson Hayes (L 3-3) 6 Saves, 19 Goals

JWU: Allison Pazienski 6 Goals, 1 Assist
JWU: Dani Lydecker 4 Goals, 2 Assists 

Of Note:
The Wildcats opened the game with an 11-0 run. Maria Patane scored twice in the first 61 seconds of the contest.   

Allison Pazienski tallied five of her game-high six goals in the first half, including a score with 1:50 left in the half as JWU went into the locker room up 14-1.

The Wildcats outshot the Cadets, 22-6, in the opening 30 minutes and had an 11-4 advantage for ground balls. Overall, JWU had the margin in shots (30-16) and ground balls (19-13).

The lead grew to as many as 18-1 on Dani Lydecker's fourth goal of the game.

Next Game:
The Wildcats return to the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletics complex Tuesday to take on Bridgewater State in a 4 p.m. start.
